Special burgers - The Worrier
Here's the final instalment of Diary of a Squirrel's homage to PEI Burger Love . It's been fun, but I've had enough burgers for awhile.
Time for lobster season!

Special burgers - The Hemingway
Have you read A Moveable Feast? It's fabulous. Ernest and F. Scott drinking their way through Paris with short, meaningful sentences. A fine book. And while you're reading, why not get a PEI Burger Love burger? Bon appetit.

The Ten Commandments
I've watched this classic Hollywood Bible epic every Easter weekend since I was a little kid. And I drag whoever's around into the tradition with me. Speaking of tradition, it's about time to rewatch Fiddler on the Roof, too. Double feature!

Special burgers - the Memento Mori
Here's another April special burger for Squirrel. Again, with apologies and respect for the real Burger Love, and I sure hope Google Translate's Latin is accurate, because mine is rusty. All I remember from high school Latin is, "Caecilius ist in atrio", and that's not very funny.

Special burgers - The Plato
April is a very special month in PEI. Over eighty restaurants, including major chains, design gourmet, and often outrageous, burgers. They all use PEI local beef and all kinds of other crazy ingredients and give the burgers funny names and everyone goes crazy eating as many burgers as possible. It's also a contest, and at the end of the month, one burger is crowned the winner based on eater's votes. I don't want to get in trouble with my good-natured burger parodies, occurring all month on Tuesdays, so I won't name the burger contest by name (but interested readers can go check it out here ), and I do mean my parody in all good fun and respect for the event. I may even go eat a real burger or two myself this month. But not eighty. Blecch!
